An exhibition by Leah Moodie
Leah Moodie won the Astaire Art Prize in 2020 and graduated from Edinburgh College of Art the following year. Originally from Orkney, she now lives in Glasgow.
“My work explores aspects of domesticity and questions our perceptions of the Western “home” environment. Influenced by homesickness anxiety, my work aims to instill a conflicting atmosphere of comfort yet unease, resulting in my surreal aesthetic. I create visions of melancholic scenes by combining figures, household appliances, animals, and plants at multiple perspectives.”
Entry is free.
