Goldfinger, released in 1964, is the third James Bond film starring Sean Connery as the iconic British secret agent. The plot centers around Bond’s mission to investigate and thwart the plans of the wealthy and nefarious Auric Goldfinger. Bond discovers that Goldfinger aims to contaminate the United States Bullion Depository at Fort Knox, making the gold stored there radioactive for decades, thereby increasing the value of his own gold holdings.

Throughout the film, Bond encounters various challenges and allies, including the lethal Oddjob, Goldfinger’s henchman known for his deadly hat, and the alluring but dangerous pilot, Pussy Galore. The movie is renowned for its memorable gadgets, iconic scenes, and the classic Aston Martin DB5, solidifying its place as a cornerstone of the James Bond series.
