ICONS OF WAR, FACES IN EXILE

‘Icons of War, Faces In Exile’ is a joint exhibition of photographic portraits of refugees living in Fife, and traditional Orthodox Icon paintings.

Olena Cheban’s photographs titled ‘Home From Home’ will be hung alongside ‘Icons on Ammo Boxes’, an array of icon paintings by Ukrainian artists, Sonya Atlantova & Oleksandr Klymenko. The couple have been painting religious icons on ammunition boxes since the annexation of Crimea in 2014.
