Morgan Ritchie is a visual artist specialising in painting. She began her artistic journey in the tender years of childhood and continued her exploration studying at North Carolina State University, where she attained a Bachelor's Degree in Art+Design. While she strayed from her creative work for a period and took focus on travel, her passion for creativity has consistently bubbled in the background. Despite many moves and many changes she has always turned back to what she loves most and found herself simply making. The only items to routinely follow her around the globe are those she can hang on the wall. She firmly believes: home is where the art is. Since relocating to the area in 2022, Scotland and in particular Fife, has provided much inspiration with sprawling landscapes and moody skies. Everyday life, locations, and the people around her are her favourite subjects.
